The Comets of Quincy Junior High scored 12 runs over two innings to put another L on the Liberty JH Eagles record, 13-3. Noah Klauser took the loss on the mound for Liberty, going 2-1/3 innings while striking out three. Jacob Davis threw an inning and two-thirds in relief and Gavin Fessler capped off the effort on the mound with a 1-2-3 top of the fifth.

Jackson Sims and Klauser both collected two hits for the Eagles with Klauser, Devon Funk, and Lucas Logsdon each notching an RBI.

The Eagles take on Camp Point Central Saturday before heading into a busy week that begins with Payson on Monday.
