JH Baseball: Hard hitting Nauvoo too much for the Eagles

NAUVOO-COLUSA JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 14
The LJHS baseball team fell to Nauvoo-Colusa JH, 14-4, on Tuesday. The Eagles followed a long bus trip with a good first inning offensively as Lucas Logsdon went opposite field with the first pitch he saw to drive in courtesy runner, Kameron Kasparie, who came on after a lead-off walk from P Levi Hoener. Offensively, Jacob Davis and Noah Klauser both bounced back from tough nights Monday to collect RBI for the Eagles.
The rest of the evening, however, belonged to the Vikings. The Eagles' pitching staff never found a comfort zone against Nauvoo's hot bats and aggressive base running. Levi Hoener (0-1) took the loss.
The Eagles return to action at 4:30pm on Thursday against Western.
